The Rhythmics Bundle includes the Ora table lamp and the Dancing Balconies relief artwork. The lamp and the relief are sold together at a discounted price. This bundle reinforces the sculptural approach that makes Yoca Design unique. The reliefs and lamps are intertwined. The dynamic composition of Dancing Balconies inspired the Ora lamp.

Presented as a quartet of sculpted tiles, Dancing Balconies delves into the intricate relationships between balconies - an architectural element that serves as a threshold between interior and exterior worlds. Reliefs are sculptures with a flat surface. Because of their flat surface, reliefs can be displayed as wall sculptures. Dancing Balconies is a limited edition of 16 reliefs.

The framed option comes with a 10mm Mahogany stain frame and a black backboard. The entire piece measures 46x30cm, with a 10mm margin between the frame and a 20mm gap separating each tile. Each sculpted tile measures 20x12cm. Read more about the Dancing Balconies relief.

Ora is a table lamp and a sculpture. It changes its appearance. When lit, Ora illuminates. During the day, Ora is a sculpture floating in space. This dynamic appearance offers exciting opportunities to style Ora in different ways. It can live as a bedside lamp, a table lamp in a living room or a desk lamp in an office.

I craft the lampshade and base from corn starch, a bioplastic material. This corn starch material is made from renewable resources. It uses 65% less energy than other virgin materials. Read more about the Ora lamp.

The Rhythmics bundle showcases the sculptural approach that makes Yoca Design Often, I would sketch and cast a relief which would later inform the design of a lampshade. Dancing Balconies inspired the Ora lamp. Both have dynamic appearances from different angles. The illumination of Ora adds another dimension to the practice of sculpting.
