Shipping and Payment
What is your shipping policy?
Shipping is free for standard deliveries. All lamps are carefully crafted, assembled, and packed to order in-house. This allows us to operate a more sustainable practice and reduce waste significantly. We do our best to handle your order as soon as possible. Orders are usually ready for shipping within three working days from the order date.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United Kingdom. Please write to us at hello@yocadesign.co.uk if you are interested in making an international order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diner’s Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Meta Pay payments.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Lamps should be returned in their original packaging so that we can operate a more sustainable practice and save on waste. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
If you want to return your lamp, you need to let us know within 14 days of receiving it. Please write to us at hello@yocadesign.co.uk. You have another 14 days to return the lamp once you tell us. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the lamp back.
Customers are responsible for the return fee. Refunds will not be offered for orders that extend beyond the 14-day period.
What should I do if my lamp arrives faulty or with defects?
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at hello@yocadesign.co.uk if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please ensure that you are including the number of your order in the subject line of the email.
Once we receive your inquiry and identify the problem, we will find a solution. If you wish to return the lamp instead of fixing it, you will need to return the lamp to us in the original packaging. Please note that customers are responsible for the return fee.
Defects and faults are traced to how lamps were manufactured or delivered. Defects and faults are not associated with ordinary wear and tear of the lamps.
Do you provide exchanges or refunds on gifts or sale items?
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products, sale items or gift cards.

How do you process the refund?
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What is the difference between Ora Premium and Ora?
The Ora Premium lamp comes with a hand cast plaster base. The plaster base further celebrates the lamp's sculpted appearance. It comes in elegant white or terracotta red colours.
The Ora lamp comes with a 3D printed bio-plastic base. It comes in elegant white or classic black colours.
How do I take good care of my lamp?
Clean the lamp with a dry cloth, applying a light touch to remove dirt and dust. All lamps should be handled by holding their base. Do not use the lamp shade, the rod any other part to move the lamps. If you purchased a lamp with a plaster base, be careful when handling it as it is fragile.
The shade is made of bioplastic which may lose mechanical strength at temperatures above 60 degrees.
Can I commission a custom design?
We share the process and journey of designing our lamps on our Instagram yocadesign account. Please participate in the design process. We are keen to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
Bulbs
What kind of bulb can I use in my lamp?
You can use any B22 LED candle bulb. ‘B’ stands for Bayonet, the type of bulb. ‘22’ refers to the size of the bulb. Finally, ‘Candle’ is the shape of the bulb.
Can I use a smart bulb?
Yes, you can, as long as it is B22 candle bulbs.
How do I replace the bulb in my lamp?
Ensure that the lamp and power are turned off. Lift the shade to reveal the bulb. Twist the original bulb out of the lamp holder. Put the new bulb in the lamp holder and twist it in the other direction to lock it in place.
