Flowing Centre is a relief wall sculpture that composes one’s journey through an abstract landscape. Through this journey, the viewer is invited to investigate form and geometry through ambiguous scales. Reliefs are sculptures with a flat surface. Because of their flat surface, reliefs can be displayed as wall sculptures.
This relief artwork is an exclusive edition of 10 reliefs. The boundary of Flowing Centre is irregular, echoing the unpredictable contours found in nature, making each iteration of Flowing Centre unique and bespoke. This deliberate choice reinforces the idea that the artwork is more than just an object but a piece of landscape.
The framed option comes with a 10mm Mahogany stain frame and a backboard painted in a blue colour. The relief is framed with a 25-30mm margin to enhance its presence. Flowing Centre Framed measures 44x37cm. The unframed piece measures 37x30cm. The relief can be ordered in various colours to suit different spaces.

Flowing Centre is inspired by Noguchi’s visionary design for the ‘Contoured Playground’. The relief follows Noguchi's approach, investigating intricate relationships between architecture and landscape. This relief wall sculpture is made from plaster sourced locally in England.
